Together, they offer fresh interpretations of eleven songs from Young's remarkable catalog, spanning rock, Americana, roots, and alternative music.

Among the album's highlights is Draco Rosa's powerful reimagining of "After the Gold Rush." A pioneering artist whose genre-defying career has spanned rock, Latin music, and alternative pop, Rosa brings his unmistakable voice and artistic vision to one of Neil Young's most enduring songs, honoring the spirit of the original while making it entirely his own.

Proceeds from Heart of Gold: The Songs of Neil Young benefit The Bridge School, the nonprofit founded by Neil and Pegi Young in 1986 to help meet the communication and educational needs of their son, Ben. Built on the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to communicate, The Bridge School has spent the past 40 years transforming the lives of thousands of individuals with complex communication and physical disabilities through groundbreaking work in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), assistive technology (AT), education, research, and professional development. As the organization marks its 40th anniversary in 2026, it continues to advance communication access for individuals, families, and professionals around the world.
